Well! It's beautiful today! I mean it's usually pretty nice weather here, but- I mean, is it just me or is that sky amazing? I've got gorgeous floating holy stones in my sky back home, and I have to say it's got nothing on today's blue.

Anyway, I don't know about the rest of you, but I've just been catching up with so many wonderful people since I got here! I'd like to hear about any happy reunions, if you'd like to share. Also, anyone you're hoping to see? Who knows, maybe just saying it aloud will work like some sort of summoning charm, right? Just say their name!

I hope I'm not stepping on anybody's toes with this, but I work down at the Good Spirits Bar. There's a few of us there. If anybody'd like a drink or maybe just someone to listen, feel free to come down! I make pretty good chicken spaghetti too.



...heh! It's probably weird to be happy to be back. Whatever, I'm embracing it.

Oh, my, so many of my friends came back! I'm so happy to see them all. I hope the rest of my friends come back, too!

I hear you, I hear you. Feels sort of selfish, but I still want a bunch of people I've really missed to come back again.

[Does he want to talk about them? ...sure, no harm in it.] A few people I know. I knew a kid, Draco. He was rough around the edges but I think he had a good heart. And Meryl Stryfe. She was great, she made really good tea, great listener.

...and Nami. She was- she's a very good friend. I'd like to see her again.

[Her eyes widen slightly at two names in particular.]

Oh, are you friends with Draco and Nami, too? They're both so nice, aren't they?

[explaining]

Uh. Well, yes, they are. Draco in his...own...unique sort of way. [he was not really that nice at all but that wasn't really his fault]

You knew Draco? And got along with him?

WHO CARES ABOUT THE SKY? THERE'S SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO LOOK AT.

[Like potential wives.]

I- what? [THAT'S A TALKING FONBOT] Oh- yeah, I mean, whatever. The sky; who cares, right?

EXACTLY! [Finally, someone agrees with him right away!

... Wait, does he recognize this guy?] THERE'S SO MUCH MORE TO LIFE. LIKE ALL THE BABES WAITING TO BE SWEPT OFF THEIR FEET BY A TECHNOLOGICALLY SUPERIOR BACHELOR SUCH AS MYSELF!

I...wasn't really going down that road, but that's obviously a passion of yours. Which is good, it's good to have passion. [like guy's passion for fontech hey so would you mind if he took you apart] You definitely look technologically superior! Without a doubt, one of your most defining features.

[roboredom]

[Minding it would be an understatement. Robo-Ky's insides are mystery and they're intended to be that way unless he explodes again for the nth time.]

MAYBE? I DON'T REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE HUMAN I ENCOUNTER. MOST OF YOU LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME.

Okay, fair. [NOT FAIR] You're pretty unique though, and I'm really sure we've met before.

I'm Guy Cecil, if that rings any bells.

[It rings a bell. He remembers someone he once met named Guy, and they kind of had the same hair... so sure, he'll go with that. Even if it's wrong.

It's not really wrong, but who gives a damn. Robo-Ky doesn't.

I was...looking more for a noun than an adjective. Do you have a noun? [is that noun 'fontech']

ROBOT. ARE YOU BLIND? [Genuinely wondering.]

WHAT IS "JUST A ROBOT" SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! BY VIRTUE OF ME BEING A ROBOT, THAT MEANS I'M ALREADY A SHITTON MORE SUPERIOR TO YOU IN EVERY WAY!

WHAT MORE DO YOU EXPECT OF ME?! [It's not his fault he can't bag a wife! They're all defective!]

We didn't know each other very well but we got along pretty well if my memory serves me right!

I think we mostly spoke on the journals, right? Didn't meet in person often.

Ah ha! So you do remember me!

Yep, that's mostly how we talked to each other but it doesn't mean that we can't change that this time around! Especially if you're at Good Spirits to boot! Just... no booze for me!

[She's had her fill of dealing with drunken antics thanks to Smoker and Ikki.]

It's good and weird at the same time to be back though, don't you think?

Definitely both of those things, and a whole slew of other things. Annoying to be back here? But also I'm really, really grateful.

I feel the same way, to be honest. I'm getting a very strong feeling that I've missed super duper mega important and nobody's got the deets.

-Emil! Hey! Yeah, I had a few friends back when I was here last, you included! How are you? Is Richter here with you?

[Guy remembers. He remembers, and that's enough to make Emil break into a wide smile on his end of the journals.]

I'm just fine! Things haven't been too bad here for a while, even with the drafts and everything. It feels like we're actually starting to make some progress against the cultists now.

[Try as he might, however, he can't quite hide the hint of wistfulness that creeps into his tone at the mention of Richter.]

Richter is... he hasn't come back ever since he was sent home a few years ago. I guess that means he's lucky, huh?

[Voice]

[explaining]

Ahhh, Emil. Sorry to hear that. About Richter, I mean.

But hey, good to hear about making progress! Let's hope that keeps up; I'd like to see people around here finally get some traction against this whole mess.
