[Voice]
Man.
[A pause.]
Has anyone ever gotten that sudden rush, where you remember a whole lot of something all at once? Or you think you remember all of it, but then there's pieces missing...
Hahaha wow I'm dizzy. Okay, sitting down.
Um- well all right, I won't beat around the bush. Nami, Zack? Buffy? Draco? Meryl? What about anybody from home? Luke, Asch?
I don't need help, I'm all right to get to the village myself, but a friendly voice would be nice to listen to for the walk in. Maybe some conversation while I catch my breath. Ah, how about- hm. Your first day here in Luceti; how was it for you?

Guy doesn't cling, at least, and draws back to give Luke a pat on the shoulder before stepping away. He knows the grin on his face is big and stupid but he just can't help himself.]
You look good. Healthy and happy.
[Action]
It's okay, though, Luke's grin is just as big and stupid. He puts his hands on his hips while he eyes Guy - he looks just slightly older than last time. It's not that big of a difference, but it's enough for Luke.]
Taller, too, right? [Please say yes 8(]
[Action]
[Guy steps up next to Luke, shoulder-to-shoulder, and holds up his hand.]
Maybe- maybe an inch or two. Maybe.
[Action]
[Well since Guy is right by his shoulder, Luke will just turn and give that shoulder a backhanded slap.]
I think you mean definitely.
[Action]
[Action]
[He laughs after that; god, it's good to laugh with Guy again. But right now there's more important things to focus on. Luke grins as he pushes the shoes over with his foot, having dropped them to dump the shirt on Guy's face.]
Here.
[Action]
Let's get a move on, huh? [He stoops to retrieve his journal from on the tree and glances around for the shirt. Nope. It's already washed downstream, probably halfway to the lake by now.]
[Action]
[Luke will lead the way, probably knowing the river a little better at this point. He still sticks close by, though, as if straying too far might result in Guy disappearing again (well, it could.)
Once they're far enough down the river, Luke figures he ought to get some answers himself. So he slows down a little to walk by Guy's side rather than in front of him, and he looks up at his profile, but also takes a glance at his wings - blue again, though with some white added in this time... huh.]
So what's the last thing you remember about this place?
[Action]
It's really him. Score, he just can't stop thinking about- He doesn't know who it was walking toward them in Tataroo Valley; it has to be Luke, but his hair, and the way he spoke was strange, and he didn't act like Luke-
No no, concentrate, Luke's asking something.]
Huh? Oh, um...I remember weird things happening around Valentine's Day again. I was here for maybe a couple weeks after that?
[Guy flips through his journal.] Looks like the last post I made before I was sent back was just another all-call for Good Spirits.
[Action]
[Luke lets out a sigh and takes a step to the side, so that he can walk and lightly lean his shoulder against Guy's at the same time. This is so confusing to think about. He's heard of people coming back with their memories of Luceti, but only selective memories, and completely forgetting one of their visits? He hasn't had experience with that one yet, until now.]
Has anyone told you yet? About how you were here after all that?
[Action]
[Action]
You completely rejected Asch. That's why I have to live without him nearby.
You killed him.
You almost killed me. Instead you left a scar that'll never go away.
You entrusted the Jewel to me and refused to look at it until you felt you had my trust again. I still have it, even though I wanted to give it back immediately.
You watched me die.
...
He just shuts his eyes and smiles, completely trusting Guy to lead the way for that short amount of time.]
Not really.
[Action] 1/2
[Action]
[He knows that's not all.]
Hey, Luke?
[Action]
Huh?
[Action]
[Action]
He breaks eye contact, if only to lower his head to bump his cheek against Guy's shoulder. And to combat that gnawing guilt in his chest that tells him he should tell Guy these things, not cower away from it all.]
I trust you more.
[Action]
I trust your judgment. If there's anything you want to tell me later, I don't be mad at you for keeping it from me.
[Action]
[Ah. Caught. Luke's eyes widen with surprise, even though he thinks to himself that he shouldn't be surprised.
The contact breaks once more, and again he presses his cheek to Guy's shoulder. Not to just bump it, though. Now he's just resting it there.]
I'm sorry. I-It's okay if you want to get mad... [Even though Guy's kind of scary when he's mad, especially at Luke.]
[Action]
[Action]
Okay, okay! I meant what I said, you know.
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
[Action]
[He sounds more fond than annoyed, though.]
Fine. But then you can't get mad at me no matter what I do.
