[Luceti could probably use a distraction right about now. Shift experiments have a way of killing the mood.]

Okay I'm in a rut. I'm looking up vampire facts for...things, and I'm running into a lot of conflicting data. Anybody out there want to share what they know?

[This is, naturally, also an invitation to vampires to share without outright doing a vampire all-call. Guy remembers quite a few night-walkers wanting to keep their identities as secret as possible, going as far as to pick up their blood from the back door of the bar.]

...and the nature of marital affairs, but I'll understand if that's a difficult subject for some. Don't feel obligated to share.

Oh, and I did some research on writing a love letter, May! Looks like sincerity is the way to go. Don't try to impress him with being someone you're not, and don't try to write it to make it sound like it's poetry or anything. Being honest is the key.

[He didn't really research it okay, he just made that shit up from his own preferences.]

It um...depends on what you'd like to know. Many vampire myths always depict them as drinking blood and such. There's always the fact that some of them cannot cross through passages unless allowed to. And then there's the idea that many of them are living corpses p-possessed by a demon.

[ He pauses. ] It varies from place to place.

Well the more common ideas are that they drink blood. Can't step on holy ground. Need to be invited into places. Those sorts of things. Ah. I-I know there are a few vampires here at the moment...

[ Drusilla for one. ] This wouldn't h-happen to pertain to them, would it?

O-Oh! Heaven's no, I-I would never want to assume that. I was just...curious is all. [ But it does make him feel a bit better knowing that. ]

Vampires in my world are...a bit more civil it would seem c-compared to, ah, other places. There's tons of different families as well too. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Dracula, but he's quite the influential vampire in my world. Very powerful and very dangerous too.

Something like that, yes. There's vampires who are considered ancients among their race, and from them most of the other families have been derived. The bloodlines of all other families of vampires go back to Dracula's bloodline.
