Man.
[A pause.]
Has anyone ever gotten that sudden rush, where you remember a whole lot of something all at once? Or you think you remember all of it, but then there's pieces missing...
Hahaha wow I'm dizzy. Okay, sitting down.
Um- well all right, I won't beat around the bush. Nami, Zack? Buffy? Draco? Meryl? What about anybody from home? Luke, Asch?
I don't need help, I'm all right to get to the village myself, but a friendly voice would be nice to listen to for the walk in. Maybe some conversation while I catch my breath. Ah, how about- hm. Your first day here in Luceti; how was it for you?

[voice]
In other words? Welcome back.
[voice]
Heh, thanks. Hey, so Good Spirits is still around too, right? [Oh, he hopes so. He really does; he loves that place.]
[voice]
[Where else would the "manager" let himself get bossed around on occasion?]
So I take it that means you're back on board? The staff could definitely use another guy.
[No pun intended.]
[voice]
Yeah, I'd love to go back if you'll have me, boss. Buffy still works there, right?
[voice]
[Wait, something's not right about this. He's quiet for a long moment.]
I think we got some wires crossed in the middle, here... uh... a few months ago, I asked you if you wanted to join the staff. Because I was already running it.
[voice]
[voice]
[What the hell, Luceti. What the hell. So weird.]
So- wait. You're the Guy I met when I first showed up here!?
[As in the Guy he actually got to know and befriend instead of sort of... casually meet from time to time? CRAZY.]
[voice]
[There's more than one of him?]
Um- well, I definitely recall meeting you and befriending you. Unless you're talking about that first time; I don't remember any of that, but you told me basically what happened. [When you got drunk. MENTIONED THAT YOU GUYS HAD SEX. It was very interesting.]
[voice]
[....]
You know what? This is gonna get messy, so I'm just going to forget all of that and focus on the us of here and now. Hi.
[voice]
Nice to meet you. I'm Guy.
[voice]
[voice]
So I was here a little while ago, and I didn't remember anything from before?
[voice]
[voice]
Yeah, I don't remember any of that. But I remember everything from before.
[voice]
[Luceti. Weird. Yep.]
Well, I'm sure you want to settle in, so if you want a full catch-up, you should definitely swing by the bar. We've missed you.
[voice]
[voice]
[voice]
Haha, it'll be nice going there as a patron. Weird, but nice.
[voice]
[Heh heh.]
I know how you feel, though- after spending so much time behind the counter, it's a little weird to be on the other side.
[voice]
[Guy goes silent for a bit, and his smile tapers off into something a little less giddy and a little more contemplative.]
How're you doing, Zack? [Last time he'd heard, Zack had lost Cloud only a few months before, and things with Aerith were...rocky.]
[voice]
Me? I'm okay, actually! Things were good, and things were bad, but I'm still smiling, and in my book that counts for a lot.
[voice]
Well, I'm glad Luceti hasn't been treating you terribly then. You've been here this whole time? No trips back home?
[voice]
Actually, there was one quick trip home- a lot of people got sent home for a day almost half a year ago, and they dragged a cross-world neighbour along with them. I went home with Light, and when we got back, both of us thought she grew up there for an entire week. It was weird, man.
[voice]
Good to know Luceti's up to the same-old same-old.
