Has anyone ever gotten that sudden rush, where you remember a whole lot of something all at once? Or you think you remember all of it, but then there's pieces missing...

Hahaha wow I'm dizzy. Okay, sitting down.

Um- well all right, I won't beat around the bush. Nami, Zack? Buffy? Draco? Meryl? What about anybody from home? Luke, Asch?

I don't need help, I'm all right to get to the village myself, but a friendly voice would be nice to listen to for the walk in. Maybe some conversation while I catch my breath. Ah, how about- hm. Your first day here in Luceti; how was it for you?

A bit of disbelief comes in handy, though, at least. By the time you realize you might actually be sticking around, you'll have seen enough out-of-the-ordinary to know it's gonna be the new ordinary.

Also true. It becomes routine to see the unexpected around every corner; once the culture shock wears off, it's actually kind of nice. Personally I like having so much variety around, though I dunno if it's the same for you.

I could do with or without it. Never put much into that 'spice of life' saying. The variety keeps things much more interesting, yeah. It also keeps 'em dangerous along that note, though, and I couldn't tell you if it's worth that.

Depends, doesn't it? Some people never see any trouble at all, some people've just got terrible luck and the rest are out to do something stupid or illegal on purpose.

Well, you know. Detective Inspector. I've had a chance to run into just about every breed there is.

I did up my training and exams as soon as I could, got my Detective's rank... it'll be over twenty years ago now, give or take. [ OOOLD. ] Took longer to make it up to Inspector, of course, but that's how it works when you get your promotions the right way.
