Has anyone ever gotten that sudden rush, where you remember a whole lot of something all at once? Or you think you remember all of it, but then there's pieces missing...

Hahaha wow I'm dizzy. Okay, sitting down.

Um- well all right, I won't beat around the bush. Nami, Zack? Buffy? Draco? Meryl? What about anybody from home? Luke, Asch?

I don't need help, I'm all right to get to the village myself, but a friendly voice would be nice to listen to for the walk in. Maybe some conversation while I catch my breath. Ah, how about- hm. Your first day here in Luceti; how was it for you?

Yeah, we lived together for a while. Luke, Asch, Natalia and myself. That was around the time you showed up, actually.

[Guy doesn't remember if she left before he did though; things got kind of rocky with Asch around that point.]

Tear, what's this about?

Y'know, it seems like all the really strange stuff happens to Nami.

[She's cursed. She's definitely cursed.]

... You have returned once before now, and you did not recall the time before that. [Though she wouldn't be able to explain everything that had happened, occupied as she had been.]

At that time, you told me that what you last remembered of Auldrant was watching Luke at the Tower of Rem, about to... I assume that it's not the case right now.

Don't know if I'll make it tonight, but I'll definitely be by tomorrow at the latest. I'd love to see what you've done with the place.

She's on Luffy's crew, I think that explains it. Only the really strange stuff happens to them.

[Guy will occasionally try to pick his way up along the riverbed, but eventually he just finds a downed tree that stretches out over the river and he climbs onto it to sit and dangle his feet in the water.

Ahhhh.

Luke should be along any minute now, right? Right.

...stretching out on that log now. Time for a nap.]

[Suddenly that 'more serious' comment from Zack makes sense now.]

Yeah. No, that's- it's over. That's already happened for me.

Hey, I don't mean to brag, but I think it's improved a bit since you left. Got some new drinks, too! You'll have to try them out.

Just curious. Sometimes it happens to people, wanted to make sure it didn't happen to you.

[It does take him a while. Finding a light shirt for Guy, remembering his shoe size, then going along the river to try to find his best friend. All the while, he thinks. So... he doesn't remember the last time he was here, but... he does remember the time before that?

Luke doesn't really get it, but it's okay. It's still Guy... and maybe he remembers Asch. The way he ought to be remembered, not in a way that caused such an ugly confrontation and constant hatred. He'll have to let Asch know somehow.

And he's still thinking about that when he does find Guy, dozing against a tree across the river. He grins, feeling happiness bloom in his chest when he realizes just how much he missed him. And Luke would rather not wait for Guy to wake up to see him and talk to him face to face.

So he carefully moves along the tree enough to be just a foot away, and the grin on his face becomes more powerful as he reaches to dump the shirt on Guy's face.]

... Guy!

[ Blinking. She still has mixed feelings about this man after his last, fairly tumultuous visit, but she knows enough to know this will make Luke happy. That's good enough for her.

Mostly.

Still, she manages a smile. ]

I guess you just can't stay away, huh. Welcome back.

I nearly drowned, but my brother pulled me out and then my worst enemy taunted me.

[Guy sputters and flails awake, and manages to shove the shirt into the river as he bolts up.

Guy climbs to his feet and just barely manages not to tackle Luke into the river too. He's just going to shove a little at him to try and get him to over to the bank, so he can hug him properly.

Ah, there. Yes.]

Looks like, hahaha. I'm kind of glad though; I didn't really want to go in the first place.

[He smiles. Good, she's still here. Luke must be happy.]

Though hey, could've gone worse too; your brother could've not pulled you out.

I missed you too. [Even if he didn't miss her at the time, he is missing her in retrospect.]

...Not that strange. Not that strange at all. Maybe not the most popular of opinions but -- I can get behind it.

You arrive alright? No scrapes? Bruises?

Yup, I'm fine. Just the usual clothes-and-wing problem, but it's being remedied as we speak. [The clothes part.]

What about you? No scrapes or bruises or general crises of which to speak?

A little tricky to be honest, but everyone seemed eager and ready to help.
